The 1979 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was played from May to September, 1979. It was another final decider between Kerry & Dublin. Kerry matched their dominance of the previous year's final by beating Dublin by 3-13 to 1-08. It was the second part of Kerry's "Four In A Row" of all All-Ireland titles
