Summary

Three different Poinsot spirals, which satisfy the equation b = r cosh(θ/k) where k is a positive real number. The green, cyan and blue curves correspond to k=1.0, 3.0 and 6,0, respectively. These are half-spirals, since only positive values of θ are plotted; the negative values would give the mirror image about the x-axis (i.e., the horizontal).
