In Norway, the Minister of Justice and Public Security is the head of the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police and a member of Government of Norway. Current minister is Grete Faremo[citation needed] of the Norwegian Labour Party who is part of the second cabinet Stoltenberg. She has sat since 11 November 2011. Until 1 January 2012 the post was named the Minister of Justice and the Police[1][2]
