Sayler Park is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio.[1] The west side neighborhood on the Ohio River is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) and 2 miles (3.2 km) wide.[2] The 65-acre (26 ha) Fernbank Park in Sayler Park stretches over a mile along the Ohio River.[3] The Thornton Triangle is Cincinnati's smallest municipal park.[4]
History
Sayler Park was annexed by the City of Cincinnati in 1911.[5] The neighborhood is known for its F5 tornado in 1974 during the Super Outbreak[6] (one of seven F5 tornadoes during that outbreak) which killed three and demolished many homes.
