Shrivallabh Vyas, also known as Shri Vallabh Vyas or Vallabh Vyas, is an Indian actor who has worked in many films including Sardar, Lagaan and Shool. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama.[1]

Early career

Vallabh worked in Theatres and also in mainstream Marathi cinema, occasionally acting in Hindi films in small usually supporting roles. To support his family- Vallabh also worked for Bombay Municipality (Mumbai Municipality) until 1998.

His earliest roles include Dr. Paranjpe in Khel, Ansar Kamran the Veterinary Doctor in Yaarana, The family manager in Deewana to name a few. In 1998- he played Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Sardar which became one of his best-known roles. This was followed by the role of Major Baig in Sarfarosh (1999) and father of Sameer Dharmadhikari in Satta and as the father of Gauri in Lagaan. He also appeared in the 2002 film Desh Devi. His most recent role was in Dil Bole Hadippa.

Teleserials

Vallabh Vyas acted in a handful of serials in the 80's- the most prominent role being as Mufti uncle in Ajab Si Hai Zindagi (1996–1998) and as Mr. Chavan in Tara (1994–1996).

His best-known role was as notorious terrorist Osama Bin Laden in the teleserial Timebomb 911. He did C.I.D in Sony Entertainment Television. He has also done a role of Panditji in Simply Sapney.

He is currently living in Jaipur and is ill from last 2-3 years.
