The Uw Oykangand are an Australian people living on the southwestern part of the Cape York Peninsula, Queensland in Australia. Their traditional lands are around the Alice River, Queensland and the Crosbie River, and further west around the Mitchell River and into Gulf Country. They are traditionally speakers of the Uw Oykangand language.

Today they are still keeping a close connection to their traditional way of life, and are using their traditional lands for extensive camping, hunting, fishing and gathering edible plants and other food. They also harvest for traditional industry.[citation needed]
