Summary
74-gun <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%A9m%C3%A9raire_class_ship_of_the_line" class="extiw" title="en:Téméraire class ship of the line">Téméraire class ship of the line</a> of the line supported by a special-purpose floating dock. This system was used to allow large units to exit Venice harbour in spite of its shallow waters. This system, called "chameau" ("camel"), was used by two ships: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_ship_Rivoli_(1810)" class="extiw" title="en:French ship Rivoli (1810)">Rivoli</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_ship_Mont_Saint-Bernard_(1811)" class="extiw" title="en:French ship Mont Saint-Bernard (1811)">Mont Saint-Bernard</a>. Access number 27 CN 42 at the Naval museum of Toulon.
