The 1974 European Cup Final was contested between FC Bayern Munich of West Germany and Atlético Madrid of Spain. Two goals in extra time meant the two sides could not be separated, so a replay was played two days later. Bayern won this match convincingly, with two goals each from Uli Hoeneß and Gerd Müller, giving the German side a 4–0 victory.[1][2]
