Allsvenskan 2004, part of the 2004 Swedish football season, was the 80th Allsvenskan season played. The first match was played 3 April 2004 and the last match was played 30 October 2004. Malmö FF won the league ahead of runners-up Halmstads BK, while AIK and Trelleborgs FF were relegated.

2After the 2004 season, The Swedish FA licensing committee denied Örebro the licence needed to play in Allsvenskan the next season due to the club's economic situation and they were thus relegated to Superettan 2005. Assyriska Föreningen were promoted in place of Örebro.

Notes
- ↑ After the season's end it was disclosed that Örgryte IS had played the away match against GIF Sundsvall with four non-EU/EEA players, one more player than the rules allowed. The result in the match was changed from 1–1 to a 0–3 loss. This had a positive effect on GIF Sundsvall which thus advanced one position in the final table.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 AIK chose to play their last home match of the season against Örgryte IS without any attendance, AIK's average for the twelve other home games was 15,037 and Örgryte IS' average for the twelve other away games was 9,036.
