The 6th National People's Congress (Chinese: 第六届全国人民代表大会; pinyin: Dìliù Jiè Quánguó Rénmín Dàibiǎo Dàhuì) was in session from 1983 to 1988. It held five plenary sessions in this period.

• Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress: Peng Zhen
