A Time for Us is a 1977 compilation album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck.

Background

A Time for Us and its similar counterpart in the US, Engelbert Sings for You, are the first post-1974 Decca compilations that have survived as entries in Engelbert's official discography, as depicted on his website.[1] This collection is notable for the debut of three songs from the vaults, "What Now My Love," "Funny Familiar Forgotten Feelings," and "Those Were the Days."

Packaging and title

This is a double LP gatefold package put together by Decca Records and released in the UK under the London label. The title comes from the included song "A Time for Us," which is the love theme from "Romeo and Juliet."

Release

The album label shows a 1977 year of publication, but a release date is not known. Its position in Engelbert's official discography suggests an end-of-year release.
