Aluu Airlines is a Greenlandic virtual airline founded 1 January 2015 and describes itself with the Greenlandic expression "Aluu" meaning a friendly "Hello" symbolizing the local touch and simultaneously welcoming everyone. The airline expects to commence operating services initially to 4 destinations between Greenland, Iceland and Denmark.[1]

Although the company might be called a low cost carrier, due to their low fares announced, tickets will be in a class by itself, as not seen before in Greenland. All tickets will be fully flexible and fully refundable.

The company will start flying with partner airlines until their own AOC/EU-license is obtained.
