Bharata or Ramayana (Sanskrit: भरत, Indonesian: Barata, Chinese: Poloto, Burmese: Bhadra, Malay: Baradan, Tamil: Paratan, Thai: Phra Phrot) is a Hindu deity depicted in the epic poem, Ramayana. According to the poem Bharata was the younger brother of Rama, a Hindu god. Hindu doctrine holds Bharata as a symbol of dharma and idealism.
