Bharya Biddalu
Bharya Biddalu is a Telugu language film released in 1971. It starred Jayalalitha and Akkineni Nageshwara Rao in lead roles with the supporting roles done by Krishnakumari, Sridevi, Kongara Jaggaiah, Rajababu, Allu Ramalingaiah and others. It is family drama film. It was produced by Venkata Subba Rao Anumolu and directed by Rama Rao Tatineni.The film is remake of Telugu Movie Bratuku Theruvu (1953), starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Savitri. There was Tamil remake in 1956 as Bale Raman. The Hindi remake was done as Jeene Ki Raah in 1969 with Jeetendra, Tanuja, Anjali. With the success of the Hindi film, the same was again remade in Telugu as Bharya Biddalu and later in Tamil as Naan Yen Pirandhen with MGR, Kanchana, K.R.Vijaya in the lead.
