Brevican

Lua error in Module:Infobox_gene at line 33: attempt to index field 'wikibase' (a nil value). Brevican core protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the BCAN gene.[1][2][3] Brevican is a member of the lectican protein family.
Brevican is localised to the surface of neurons in the brain.[4] In melanocytic cells, BCAN gene expression may be regulated by MITF.[5]
