The Broadcast Company of the Americas, also known as BCA Radio is a broadcasting company based in the San Diego, California area.
BCA Radio operates the following radio stations:
- XEPRS-AM 1090 kHz: Mighty 1090, sports radio, (flagship home for the San Diego Padres; San Diego State University Aztecs football, basketball, and baseball; and San Diego Gulls)
- XHPRS-FM 105.7 MHz: 105.7 MAX FM, oldies music
- XEPE-AM 1700 kHz: ESPN Radio 1700, sports radio
The Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, which owns and operates Viejas Casino, owns 50% of BCA.[1]
BCA only programs the stations, whose concessions and transmitters are owned by Mexican entities; until 2014, Mexican regulations prohibited the ownership of stations based in Mexico by foreign companies.
