Lua error in Module:Infobox_gene at line 33: attempt to index field 'wikibase' (a nil value). Chromosome 14 open reading frame 104, also known as kintoun, is a protein that in humans is encode by the KTU gene.[1][2] The now official name is DNAAF2

Function

Kintoun is a highly conserved protein involved in the preassembly of dynein arm complexes which power cilia. These complexes are found in some cilia and are assembled in the cytoplasm prior to transport for ciliogenesis.[3]
