Capillaritis refers to a state where the capillaries are inflamed.[1]

It may occur in the lungs as pulmonary capillaritis,[2] or in the skin as pigmented purpuric dermatosis.

On the legs starts out as little brownish dots and can cause achiness[citation needed]. Mild capillaritis clears up within 3–4 months[citation needed].
