This category is for amphibians native to Western Australia, including prehistoric and extinct species. For a list of extant species, see List of amphibians of Western Australia.

In addition to these native species, the following amphibians are naturalised or expected to naturalise in Western Australia:

  • the Spotted Grass Frog (Limnodynastes tasmaniensis) was accidentally introduced to Kununurra in the 1970s, and has established there;
  • the Cane Toad (Bufo marinus) occurs in the Northern Territory close to Western Australia's border, and is expected to spread into Western Australia within the next five years.
