Category:Soviet establishments

This category is for various organizations, commissions, committees, etc. in the Soviet Union. Due to the totalitarian natures of the Soviet Union, with the exception of the brief initial period of the Soviet history, it is impossible to draw distinctions between governmental and civic organizations and societies, since all legal establishments were controlled by the state. However some of them were formally established as part of or subordinated to the formal state structure.
