Catherine Calvert (born Catherine Cassidy, April 20, 1890 – January 18, 1971) was an American actress.

Biography

Catherine Calvert as she was known on the screen was born in Baltimore, Maryland. After many years experience onstage in Brown of Harvard, The Deep Purple (a play by her own husband, Paul Armstrong) and many other productions she entered films via Keeney Pictures Corporation in A Romance of the Underworld. (in which she had appeared onstage). Other films in which she appeared include Marriage, Out of the Night, Career of Katherine Bush, Marriage for Convenience , and Fires of Faith. Vitagraph Studios announced Miss Calvert as their newest star.[1]
