Cell is an upcoming 2016 American science fiction horror film directed by Tod Williams. It will receive its world premiere on February 26 at FrightFest, part of the Glasgow Film Festival, though a U.S. premiere date has not yet been scheduled.[1][2] The film, scripted by Stephen King and Adam Alleca, is based on King's 2006 novel of the same name. The film stars John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, and Isabelle Fuhrman. Cusack and Jackson also appeared in the film adaptation of King's short story 1408.
