Cherating is a beach town in Pahang, Malaysia, located about 47 km north of Kuantan. It is the location of Asia’s first Club Mediterranee ("Club Med").
Cherating has a cultural village and a turtle sanctuary. The turtles lay their eggs in July and August. For more information, click Kuantan
Climate
Cherating is one of the wettest places in Malaysia with heavy rainfall all year round.
