Chipping Norton Recording Studios was a recording studio in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England, which operated from 1971 until its closure in October 1999.[1]

The studios operated out of the former British Schools building, 28–30 New Street, which is a Grade II listed building.[2] Songs that were recorded at the studio include "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty, "In The Army Now" by Status Quo, "Too Shy" by Kajagoogoo, "I Should Have Known Better" by Jim Diamond, "Perfect" by Fairground Attraction, "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" by Cutting Crew and "Bye, Bye, Baby (Baby Goodbye)" by the Bay City Rollers. Dexys Midnight Runners, Duran Duran, Marianne Faithfull, Wet Wet Wet, Jeff Beck, XTC, Barbara Dickson, Alison Moyet, The Supernaturals, Mark Owen and Radiohead also used Chipping Norton Recording Studios.[1]
