Courtney Marie Andrews (born November 7, 1990) is a singer-songwriter originally from Phoenix, Arizona.[1] She released her first album, Urban Myths, in 2008,[2] and she has released four albums since.[3]

Biography

Andrews began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 13 or 14[1][2] and began performing at 15.[2] She has performed at the First Annual Winter Folk Festival,[4] the 2010 Final Folk Festival at Modified Arts,[5] and the 2011 River Jones Music & Friends Fest.[6]

In September 2009, Jim Adkins of the band Jimmy Eat World asked Andrews to sing with him on a live cover of Wilco and Feist's song "You and I".[7] In 2010, she recorded backup vocals for Jimmy Eat World[8] on five songs for their album Invented. She subsequently joined them on stage to perform during the album's release and full 2010/2011 tours.[3]
