Dallas Black Pride
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Dallas Black Pride (DBP) is an annual five-day event to officially celebrate the existence and growth of the black LGBT community in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.[1] The event has been in existence since 1996 and brings a variety of attractions to engage the thousands of local and visiting patrons.[2] It's held in conjunction with the State Fair of Texas in Dallas every fall (early October). DBP is the last major black pride event in the U.S. of the year.
Juneteenth Weekend
Juneteenth Weekend is traditionally the first black gay pride event of the year in Dallas. As with the official black pride in October, there are many visitors, along with special events and celebrations to engage the large black LGBT community in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
