David Grimaldi (politician)
David Grimaldi (born March 26, 1978) is an American businessman.
Early and family life
Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Grimaldi was born in Queens, New York and was raised by a single mother, Kathy Blau. His mother died of lung cancer in 1994, leaving him an orphan at the age of 15. He lived with the family of his high school girlfriend until he became an adult. He is of Jewish and Italian descent.[1] He holds a BA in Finance from California State University Fullerton.[2]
Career
Grimaldi began his career as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley where he was a "glorified Telemarketer" [3] New York City.[4] He was Chief Administrative Officer of New Castle County government.[5] He was fired October of 2015. Before that he was managing director of Minmetals,[6] President of Firestone Hotel Group[7][8] and Thomas P. Gordon made him Chief Financial Officer at Police Athletic League of Delaware, which he's now not apart of either.[9]
In 2012 he was a campaign manager for Thomas P Gordon.[10][11]
Grimaldi joined Minmetals in 2009, and was promoted to the head of the US Real Estate Investment Group in 2011.[12]where he managed a hotel.[13]
