Dr. George E. Roller (born 1946) is the executive director of the D. James Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C..[1]

Early life and education
George Roller was born on September 23, 1946, in Tuscola, Illinois as one of four children. He was a 1964 graduate from North Miami Senior High School in Miami, Florida. He returned to Illinois for college, graduating in 1968 from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in English and a minor in French.
After moving to Florida in 1968, he graduated with an M.A. from the University of Miami in American Studies in 1973 and earned his J.D. from the University of Miami Law School in 1978.[2]
Early career in teaching, law and politics
Teaching
From 1968 to 2003, Roller taught English at Coral Gables Senior High School while earning his master's degree and going to law school.
In 2001 he was named Miami-Dade County Teacher of the Year for Region IV.[3]
Lawyer
From 1978 on, while still teaching, he began his own law practice, working on real estate, probates, and adoptions (foreign and domestic), and enabled dozens of infants from US-American and from Ukrainian orphanages to be adopted into US-American Christian families.
Over the years, Dr. Roller led several mission trips to Ukraine.[4]
Politics
In 1994, Dr. George Roller ran for Lieutenant Governor of Florida on the ticket with Capt. Robert 'Bob' Bell,[5][6][7][8][9] ultimately being defeated by Jeb Bush,[10][11] the later Governor of Florida, whose brother, George W. Bush, later became the 43rd President of the United States.
Center for Christian Statesmanship
In July 2003, Dr. George Roller was appointed executive director of the D. James Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.,[12] the non-partisan Christian outreach to Members of the United States Congress.[13]
Since then, he frequently speaks and conducts workshops around the country.[14]
Personal life
Dr. Roller is married to Linda Roller, they have five children and nine grandchildren and live in Manassas, Virginia.[15]
