Georges Delahaie

Georges Delahaie (21 June 1933 – 6 May 2014)[1] was an abstract and expressionist French sculptor. He was born Saint-Lambert, Maine-et-Loire district. His work is often incorporates French allegorical symbolism, as in his statue of La Marseillaise.

He first studied at the École des Beaux-Arts d'Angers as a young man in the late 40's, and later in Paris at École des Beaux-Arts.
