Henk Vredeling

Hendrikus (Henk) Vredeling (20 November 1924, Amersfoort – 27 October 2007, Huis ter Heide) was a Dutch politician.
In 1956 he was first elected to the Dutch House of Representatives for the Dutch Labour Party. From 1958 to 1973 he was member of the European Parliament. He served as Minister of Defence (1973–1977) and European Commissioner (1977–1981).
