Hokushin Kyūkō Electric Railway
The Hokushin Kyuko Railway Co., Ltd. (北神急行電鉄株式会社 Hokushin Kyūkō Dentetsu Kabushiki-gaisha?) is a private railway company in Kobe, Japan. Its headquarters are in Kita-ku, Kobe. Investors in the company include Hankyu Railway and Kobe Electric Railway, and it is a subsidiary of Hankyu Hanshin Holdings.
Operations
The Hokushin Line is Hokushin Kyuko's only passenger line. The 7.5-kilometre (4.7 mi) line is owned by Kobe Rapid Transit Railway and has two stations, Tanigami in Kita-ku and Shin-Kobe in Chuo-ku. Hokushin Line trains continue on the Kobe Municipal Subway Seishin-Yamate Line.

History
The Hokushin Line opened on 2 April 1988, including the 7,179m Hokushin Tunnel.[1]
