Irtysh-Air (Kazakh: АО Авиакомпания «Иртыш-Аир») is an airline headquartered in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar Province, Kazakhstan.[3] Despite the airline is based at Pavlodar Airport, it operates a domestic network within that country from its hub in Almaty International Airport. As of April 2012, the company is banned from operating within the European Union.[4]

History

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Irtysh–Air started operations on 22 April 2009 with a Pavlodar–Moscow-Domodedovo service.[1]

On 11 May 2010, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Government of Kazakhstan authorised the carrier to operate on several domestic routes radiating from Almaty.[1]

In July 2013 (2013-07), following the Ministry of Transport and Communications revoking the operator's certificate to three airlines, it was informed that Irtysh Air could also lose its license.[5]
