The Italian Athletics Federation (Italian: Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera, FIDAL), is the governing body for athletics in Italy since 1906.
The Italian Federation has been recognised by IAAF in 1913 at the Berlin Congress.

The current president is Tuscan (from Grosseto) Alfio Giomi elected on 2 December 2012.[1]
