James Townsend (cricketer)

James Townsend (15 December 1790, England – date of death unknown) was an English amateur cricketer who played first-class cricket from 1821 to 1831. He was mainly associated with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), of which he was a member. He made 9 known appearances in first-class matches including 4 for the Gentlemen.[1]
