Janine Allis is the founder of Boost Juice and part-owner of Retail Zoo, which is the parent company of Boost Juice, Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill CIBO Espresso and Hatch. She appears as a "shark" on Shark Tank.[1][2][3]
Career
Janine started working at 17 and worked as a media assistant at advertising agency McCann-Erickson, and went on to modelling, working as an assistant manager in a gym, a nanny in France, a promotions exec in Portugal, a camp councillor in the USA, a stewardess on David Bowie’s yacht in the Mediterranean, a senior manager for a cinema chain that launched in Singapore, a publicist for United International Pictures, a publisher, an author, and a touring agent for USA comedians.
Janine grew her juice and smoothie business from her kitchen bench to an international success, the business delivered over $2 billion in global sales since inception. Boost Juice Bars are in 13 countries with over 400 stores.[4]
