The Jersey Football Combination is the senior football league on the island of Jersey and is run by the Jersey Football Association. Although the league is affiliated with the English FA, it does not form a part of the English football league system. The champion of the Premier League going on to play the champions of Guernsey's Priaulx League for the Upton Park Trophy.
History
A team representing the league won the FA Inter-League Cup in 2012 by beating the Isle of Man Football League, and qualified for the 2013 UEFA Regions' Cup. There, they were eliminated in the group stage in San Marino.
Format
There were five divisions, with the Premiership and Championship open to first teams, Divisions 1 and 2 open to reserve teams, and Division 3 open to 'C' teams. There was promotion and relegation between the Premiership and Championship, and between Divisions 1 and 2. From the start of the 2015-16 season all first team sides play in the Premiership division, due to a reduction in the number of teams.
