Jordan Wilimovsky (born April 22, 1994) is an American competition swimmer who specializes in open water swimming. At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, Russia, Wilimovsky won the gold medal in the 10 km open water event, thus qualifying him for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.[1] Wilimovsky won by a margin of 12.1 seconds over the second place finisher Ferry Weertman of the Netherlands.[2]
Wilimovsky attends Northwestern University, where he swims for the Northwestern Wildcats swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Big Ten Conference competition.
