Judith Ann Kathleen Howard CBE FRS (born 21 October 1945 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire) is a distinguished British chemist, crystallographer and Professor at Durham University.[2]
She graduated from University of Bristol with a B.Sc. and worked at the University of Oxford as a postgraduate student in Dorothy Hodgkin's group. She married David Howard.
She was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science degree at the University of Bristol in 1986.[3] In 2005 she received an Honorary Degree from the University of Bath.
According to the Web of Science she has co-authored over 1,500 scientific publications, resulting in a H-index of 78.
