History
This station received its original construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission on December 26, 1996.[2] The new station was assigned the KAKA call sign by the FCC on February 7, 1997.[3] After multiple extensions, KAKA received its license to cover from the FCC on March 12, 2002.[4]
