L'Enclume (pronounced: [lɑ̃.klym], French for "the anvil"[3]) is a restaurant located in Cartmel, Cumbria, England. In 2008, the restaurant held one star in the Michelin Guide.[1] In 2012, the restaurant held two stars in the Michelin Guide.

In the 2014 edition of the The Good Food Guide, L'Enclume was awarded a perfect 10 cooking score and topped the list of the UK's best restaurants.[4]

The restaurant was founded in 2003 by chef-patron Simon Rogan, who trained under Marco Pierre White, and co-owner, Penny Tapsell.[3][5] It is situated in an 800-year-old former smithy. From 2010 it was reported in 2009, all the food supplied will be expected to be from Rogan's nearby farm.[3]

L'Enclume was featured in The Trip, a 2010 BBC comedy starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon as fictionalised versions of themselves doing a restaurant tour of northern England.
