Lourdes Alcorta

María Lourdes Pía Luisa Alcorta Suero (born 21 June 1951 in Lima) is a Peruvian politician (PPC) and a Congresswoman representing Lima.
Before her political career, Alcorta worked as accountancy director for publicity agencies. 2003 she was elected councillor of Lima's San Isidro District, representing the Christian People's Party (PPC). In 2006 she was elected to Congress for the 2006-2011 term on the National Unity list. In the election 2011, she was re-elected for another five-year term on the ticket of the Alliance for the Great Change, to which the Christian democrats now belong.
