Macedonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, selecting their entry through a televised national final, organised by Macedonian broadcaster Makedonska Radio Televizija (MKRTV).

Skopje Fest 2011

It appears that the 2011 selection process in Macedonia will feature only one show, to be held in February, although the national broadcaster MKRTV has not confirmed it yet. Materials can be sent to the national broadcaster until 10 January.[1] The final is taking on 27 February. Participation in Skopje 2011 is restricted to national citizens of Macedonia.[2][3]

Nade Talevska intended to participate in Skopjefest with the song Vo mojot svet imas dom written by Grigor Koprov, Vladimir Dojcinovski and Borce Dimitrov. However she withdrew from the selection because of overseas arrangements[4]

Dule i Koki intended to participate with the song "Neka e so pomin" written by Ljupco Mirkovski and Ognen Nedelkovski. They withdrew explaining that Skopjefest is rigged.[5][6]
