Malaysia–Uruguay relations are foreign relations between Malaysia and Uruguay. Uruguay has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur.[1] Malaysia has an embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the ambassador being concurrent to Uruguay.[2]

Both countries have subscribed a bilateral trade agreement.[3] Trade between both countries is being actively promoted.[4] Uruguay buys caoutchouc and sells commodities, especially maize.[5] In 2007, the Malaysian Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Ng Lip Yong visited Uruguay.[6]

Both countries are full members of the Cairns Group and of the Group of 77.
