Career
Mouscron
As a youth product of Mouscron Lestienne made his debut at the highest level of Belgian football on 20 December 2008, in a 5–1 home victory against Club Brugge, as an 80th minute replacement for Asanda Sishuba.[2]
Club Brugge
After the bankruptcy of Mouscron Lestienne was able to make a free transfer. The English side Everton and Dutch side PSV Eindhoven were very interested to sign Lestienne.[3] Lestienne eventually signed a contract with Club Brugge on 6 January 2010.
Al-Arabi
Lestienne transferred to Al-Arabi in the summer of 2014.
Genoa (Loan)
Lestienne was loaned out to Genoa until the end of the 2014-15 season almost immediately after signing for Qatari side Al-Arabi.
PSV Eindhoven (Loan)
As from July 12th 2015, Lestienne was loaned out to PSV Eindhoven until the end of the 2015-16 season. The Dutch side also agreed an option to buy Lestienne at the end of the loan spell.
International career
Lestienne was called up to the Belgium national football team for the friendly against USA in May 2013, but didn't make his début. He has played 7 games for the Belgium U21 team, scoring 1 goal in a 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification Group 9 game with Cyprus U21, scoring a penalty in the 53rd minute.[4]
