Meher Afroz Shaon (born October 12, 1981[1]) is a Bangladeshi actress, director and playback singer. She was the 2nd wife of writer and director Humayun Ahmed.[2]
Contents
Early life
Shaon was born to her parents Mohammad Ali and Tahura Ali.[3] Tahura was a member of parliament from Constituency 319 of the 9th Bangladesh Parliament.[4]
Career
Shaon started her career through acting in drama serial titled Aaj Robibar in 1999. She then acted in Srabon Megher Din directed by Humayun Ahmed in the same year.
Personal life
Shaon was married to Humayun Ahmed until his death in 2012.[3] She has two sons - Nishad and Ninit.[5]
