On October, Yellici resigned after 3 months of her reign, and Marzia Piazza from Departamento Vargas was crowned the new Miss Venezuela. The pageant was broadcast on RCTV from the Teatro Paris (now called Teatro La Campiña) in Caracas, Venezuela.
