NGC 1403

Lua error in Module:Infobox at line 235: malformed pattern (missing ']'). NGC 1403 is a lenticular[2] or elliptical galaxy[3] in the constellation Eridanus. It was discovered in 1886 by Francis Preserved Leavenworth.[4] It was thought to be a "very faint, extremely small, nebulous star" by John Louis Emil Dreyer, the compiler of the New General Catalogue.[4]
