Needle in a Slunk Stack is the twenty-sixth studio album by avant-garde guitarist Buckethead. It was announced on September 24, 2009 on TDRSMusic.com. Its name is a play on the popular saying "Needle in a Hay Stack".

It follows the style of Forensic Follies, as it uses a technique known as xenochrony which means he uses recycled beats and riffs from his previous albums, including Inbred Mountain, The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock, Slaughterhouse on the Prairie, and Island of Lost Minds. However, unlike Forensic Follies, in which even the drum tracks to previous songs are used, the songs on this album feature original drum tracks.

• Track 2, "Interview with the Double Man", is a reference to the song "Revenge of the Double Man", from Monsters and Robots and also contain samples of "Symmetrical Slug" and "Dawn At The Deuce" from Albino Slug.
• Track 3, "Carcass Cable", lends samples off "Hall Of Scalding Vats" from Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot.
• Track 4, "Next Stop, the Shell", features samples of songs off Crime Slunk Scene, such as "Col. Austin VS Col. Sanders AKA Red Track Suit" and "Mecha Gigan".
• Track 5, "Distilled Scalp", contains samples of "Fizzy Lipton Drinks", off The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock.
