Omar Naber (born 1981) is a Slovenian singer and songwriter.

He was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, then part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. His father was from Jordan, while his mother is Slovenian.[1]

Omar Naber won Bitka talentov, the Slovenian version of the Battle of the talents, and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with "Stop" (in Slovene), a song he had composed himself.[2]

His album Omar was released in 2005. He spent 2006 touring Slovenia, as well as internationally, and eventually went back to the studio to record his second album with his band Kareem. This second album, also named Kareem, was released in 2007.[3]

He entered the Slovenian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest three more times, not proceeding to the main contest: in 2009 with "I Still Carry On", in 2011 with "Bistvo skrito je očem", and in 2014 with "I Won't Give Up".

His album Na glavo was released in 2014, along with its English version No Helmet.[4][5]
