"Painting the Clouds with Sunshine" is a popular song published in 1929. The music was written by Joe Burke and the lyrics by Al Dubin. It was the title song in a 1951 movie of the same name. It was also featured in one of the only surviving scenes of the musical film Gold Diggers of Broadway from 1929.
